Shipping of Vehicles to and from Tasmania

The Association has negotiated special rates to members for the shipment of vehicles to and from Tasmania with two of the shipping lines that currently service Northern Tasmania from Melbourne.

In addition to the shipment of vehicles, members when utilising the Spirit of Tasmania may accompany the vehicle as a driver together with accompanying passengers who may also be with the vehicle.

The driver in a shared freight cabin will travel free of charge. Subject to availability drivers may also request a sole occupancy cabin which will be an additional charge. All other accompanying passengers will be charged.

Due to security conditions at the TT Line terminals drivers who do not have Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) will not be able to drive their vehicle on or off the ship.

Members who wish to utilise this service are asked to email to the Association office.
